ICON Eyecare was founded in 1999, and over the past 20 years, we’ve committed ourselves to providing high-quality, personalized care to each and every one of our patients. Our experienced surgeons have completed residencies and fellowships at prestigious universities and hospitals, and specialize in a variety of procedures, including LASIK, cataract surgery, pterygium removal, glaucoma treatment, corneal replacement and uveitis treatment, to name a few. We regularly invest in the most advanced technology available, giving our surgeons the tools they need to deliver top-notch care to our patients.
Over the years, ICON Eyecare’s surgeons have performed more than 200,000 vision correction procedures. From our office staff to our surgeons, every member of our team takes the time to explain each procedure we perform and works with patients throughout their recovery. This compassionate approach helps create a warm, welcoming environment for patients as they navigate their journey to clearer vision.

ICON Eyecare is heavily involved in charities in the communities that we have locations. Every year we donate money, products and services to worthy causes.
ICON Eyecare is proud to support several local charities in Denver, Loveland, and Grand Junction. We are a supporting partner of Denver Health’s community health center, and have provided numerous donations to help the center provide expert ophthalmological care to the community. In an effort to invest in the development of surgical talent in the Grand Junction region, we have also made donations to Colorado Mesa University’s Health Services Department.
ICON Eyecare is also proud to partner with One World Surgery to help them define and lead their ophthalmology program. One World Surgery is a nonprofit with a mission to ignite the spirit of service and transform lives by providing access to high-quality surgical care globally. During week long medical mission trips, ICON participants come together to perform life-changing surgeries to communities around the world who need them most.
The ICON Eyecare team also sponsors the annual Tour of the Moon cycling event in Grand Junction, CO, which brings the Denver and mountain communities together to explore the Colorado National Monument.

ICON Eyecare partners with the Pacific University College of Optometry to provide a prestigious 13-month residency program. The program is open to a single candidate, and is therefore highly competitive. Once selected, the resident will work approximately 40 hours per week, with on-call assignments on an as-needed basis. As part of their residency, they will also write a scholarly paper based on original research, a review of literature, or a clinical case with the support of the Residency Coordinator.
The goal of the ICON Eyecare residency program is to provide the resident with clinical knowledge and hands-on experience, as well as an understanding of the importance of scholarly research. By the end of the program, the resident will have gained diagnostic, disease management, and patient care competencies that meet the highest standards in the field.
