Meet Dr. Kevin May

Dr. May graduated Magna Cum Laude in Biochemistry from the State University of New York College at Geneseo.  He went on to graduate with honors from medical school at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn.  Afterward, Dr. May completed his internship at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. May pursued additional fellowship training in Oculoplastic surgery at the Beraja Medical Institute in Coral Gables, Florida.

Dr. May is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of eye diseases and refractive errors.  He is a Colorado licensed surgeon and an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. May is a highly skilled surgeon offering sutureless cataract surgery, glaucoma, and diabetic treatment and management, as well as oculoplastic surgical procedures including blepharoplasty and treatment for tearing or dry eyes.

In addition to medical and surgical treatments, Dr. May also provides general eye exams for glasses and contact lenses. He has hundreds of happy patients enjoying a better quality of life from their improved vision. Patient satisfaction is a priority and all patients’ questions are answered thoroughly to help better understand your eyes’ condition and alleviate any concerns.

Dr. May originally hails from Buffalo, NY. He moved to Denver in February 2004 taking over the practice of the late Dr. John Barnacle. He enjoys the great outdoors and all that Colorado has to offer. In his spare time, you can find him cycling, running, skiing, or climbing a mountain.
