Conditions We Treat
  • Pterygia: Pterygia are benign growths that develop on the eye over time. The risk of developing these growths is higher with increased exposure to smoke, wind, sun and other irritants. ICON Eyecare offers surgical removal of pterygia.
  • Dry Eye: If you are experiencing dry eyes, it may be tempting to try over-the-counter remedies. However, the cause of dry eyes should always be investigated by a trained professional. Our team will examine your eye to determine the cause and best treatment of dry eyes for your unique situation.
  • Keratoconus: Keratoconus occurs when the cornea gradually changes shape and thins over time, leading to vision changes. Our team can diagnose this condition and offer the best treatment options available.
  • Uveitis: Uveitis is a very serious condition, but we are trained and well-equipped to diagnose, treat, and help you understand the implications of uveitis. You deserve to see the world through better eyes, and we can help you do just that.
  • Glaucoma: Glaucoma causes ongoing damage to your optic nerve, leading to worsening vision loss. ICON Eyecare offers several treatment options to improve the condition, including oral medications, eye drops and surgical procedures.
  • Corneal Conditions: The cornea is the transparent layer of tissue found at the front of the eye. When this tissue is damaged, treatment is often necessary. Depending on the exact condition of your cornea, our team may recommend surgery to correct the damage.   • Retina Conditions: The retina is a structure found at the back of the eye. Any condition impacting this part of the eye could lead to vision problems, pain and other issues. The treatment we recommend for retina conditions will be based on a thorough assessment of your eye.
  • Vision Deficits: In addition to LASIK, ICON Eyecare is proud to offer EVO Visian ICL and Clear Lens Exchange (CLE) procedures to qualifying patients. These procedures do not use a laser and may be used to correct your vision in some cases where LASIK is not a possibility.
