Originally from Utah, Dr. Collins earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Optometry at the Ohio State University College of Optometry in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Collins is responsible for managing the day-to-day clinical operations of ICON’s Hoffman Eye Center to ensure high-quality patient care and surgical coordination. In this capacity, Dr. Collins also acts as a liaison between ICON’s Grand Junction facilities and the general optometric community.
Dr. Collins served on the Board of Trustees for the Colorado Optometric Association from 2014 to 2016. He also founded and was the first president of the Western Colorado Optometric Society in 2013. Dr. Collins lives in Grand Junction, CO with his wife and 3 children. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, basketball and fun with his family.
